New WATT Enclosure

The WATT/Puppy System features a new WATT enclosure constructed from an innovative combination of X material (prized for its lack of coloration and resonance) and M material (prized for its midrange clarity) in a sophisticated internal bracing configuration.

New Pin Grill

Subtle styling changes introduced with System 8 further enhance WATT/Puppy's sculptural integrity, highlighted now by the introduction of the pin-and-detent grill system featured on the Alexandria, MAXX Series 2, Sophia Series 2, and Wilson Audio Duette.

In the System 8 grill assembly, Alexandria-style pin hardware replaces the Velcro® used in the System 7. Grill fit and alignment are improved. The X material grill frame is coupled more consistently and securely to the loudspeaker baffle, improving grills that were already state-of-the-art in terms of non-contribution. Additionally, the diffraction pad is now recessed and fits flush to System 8's facade.
